Hardly any town felt the consequences of the Swiss asylum policy as hard the small city Como. During summer 2016 almost 1’000 refugees arrived at this noble norditalian border town per day. I tried to capture the contrast between this ‘dolce vita’ and the ‘waiting, hoping and worrying’ which happened only a few meters apart from each other. In the end, I was shocked how easy of a task this was. The gap between the two faces was that big.
